Quinoa (Keen- Wa) is all the rage in cooking these days and for good reason. It is packed with protein, has nine essential amino acids and is cholesterol free. If you have not yet tried this grain you should!
It cooks fast and with just a touch of seasoning it is great on its own. However, we never do things plain here so I scoured the internet to bring you some of the most unique and wonderful ways this grain can be enjoyed. I cook it in chicken broth and mix it right in with my lovies rice. I have made the pancakes I will be listing below and they were a hit also. I am looking to incorporate it into another recipe or two that will be popping up soon.
