The idea of these just about made me do a happy dance. I adore avocado and this was a really cool new way try them. I also made a dipping sauce which was just sriracha and mayo to taste with a squeeze f fresh lime. It pairs really nicely. This makes a really tasty and unique appetizer for your next party. I also found that it makes a tasty topping on turkey burgers as well when I experimented later. They could also pair well with a southwestern style omelet I believe…hmmm may have to try 🙂
We just had these at s restaurant. The server said the crucial step is freezing the avacados prior to cooking.
What a great tip…thanks April! 🙂
This was great! We made them earlier in the week and both loved them.
Instead of frying them we baked them but I think they came out just as well 🙂
I am so glad you enjoyed them. I think it is a great idea to bake them. 🙂
I will be trying these!! They look incredible!!! Have you tried baking?
Thank you! I have not tried it yet (I need to get one of those little screens to keep them crisp) but I am sure they would be delicious. 🙂
These look fabulous! Will definitely be trying them soon. 🙂
Thank you Anne! You won’t be sorry 🙂
I could go for an avocado fry right about now!
It’s always avocado fry time 🙂 PS It makes a great burger or chicken sandwich topping.
These look so pretty and unique. Will have to try making these. Thanks for sharing 🙂
You are very welcome. Thank you so much for stopping in. I hope you enjoy them. 🙂
