I fear the immediate benefits may be lost on me as I hack away while typing this :).  However, for future reference and for all my healthy friends who I would  like to stay that way I have some great recipes and tips for you.  This is the season to try and take extra care to prevent getting worn down by every cold and flu.  There are some very simple ingredients you can incorporate into your diet which keep you in tip top shape to enjoy the new year. 🙂

Smoothies are a great way to get benefits from a few different foods in one serving.  Also if you are not crazy about the taste of certain “good for you” ingredients you can have it without the taste discouraging you.  Believe me you would be surprised what I get my toddlers to drink in a smoothie and they even ask for more!  I will be sharing some of my recipes in future posts but here are some great ones to get you started.
